PT Angkasa Pura Solusi (APS) has been managing the cleaning service business since 2016 in collaboration with ISS Indonesia as a Join Operation (JO) partner. At the beginning of the business, the coverage of the JO of cleaning service business area was managed only at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport with a total manpower of around 3500 personnel.

As business is growing, APS then began managing JO of cleaning service in 3 other airport branches, Padang, Jambi and Medan.

2 years later, with good performance and a strong determination to serve better services independently, APS gradually formed a self-cleaning service unit starting in 2018. Until now the independent cleaning service unit managed by APS is spread across 7 airport branches, namely Bandung, Banyuwangi, Bangka, Pontianak, Palembang, Aceh, and Pekanbaru

Service Description

In general, the cleaning service unit is responsible for providing daily and periodic cleaning services to airport areas that have been mutually agreed upon in the contract with partners. The cleaning service unit also carries out maintenance conditions for cleanliness, tidiness and comfort in related areas.

The majority of locations handled are the toilet area, lobby (lobby or curbside), check-in, boarding lounge, and arrival and departure areas. Meanwhile for other additional locations, covering the airside area, airline offices, and outdoor areas, such as parking areas and parks.

To achieve our standard satisfying out client with excellence qualit ofy cleaning service, APS ensures that the company has an ISO Quality Management Certificate. Operators in charge also routinely attend on-site training after working hours to study material about the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and basic housekeeping. In addition, the operator in charge of high risks cleaning holds an SIO (Operator License) issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower.

APS also prioritizes the quality of equipment, equipment and cleaning products that are used as operational support. Starting from the use of cleaning products with environmentally friendly chemicals to the procurement of tools, both manual and electrical, which are effectively adapted to the needs. All are arranged in an SOP and a Standard Performance Area (SPA) that is applied to each airport branch.

With a total of more than 5000 manpower, APS cleaning service is determined to continue to provide the best cleaning services for service users.

Development Plan

APS plans to establish a service school by employing competent instructors who have certificates to carry out training. This service school will not only be intended for cleaning service operators, but also other business unit personnel, such as AVSEC, Airport Helper, receptionists and customer service officers.
