The Secure Bag business managed by PT Angkasa Pura Solusi (APS) since 2016 is engaged in wrapping passenger baggage before it is entered into the Baggage Handling System.

This wrapping service, which is spread at several points in Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, is here as a solution to answer passengers' concerns about the safety of their luggage.

Service Description

Wrapping is an airport support service that focuses on efforts to secure aircraft passenger baggage. By using a baggage wrapping service, passengers can minimize the risk of unwanted things happening. Starting from physical damage to baggage caused by bad weather or mishandling. Until the possibility of cases of theft of baggage contents carried out by unscrupulous persons.

Currently, APS manages Secure Bag services in the field of wrapping at 6 points of Terminal 3 Departure from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. At each booth, there are two officers who act as machine operators and one cashier. Not only offering wrapping services, each booth also provides various accessories for luggage, such as luggage covers, cardboard boxes, and TSA (Transportation Security Administration) standard padlocks.

Secure Bag operators who have been equipped with professional skills are ready to serve service users for 24 hours.

Expansion plan

  • Develop end to end passenger service for all activities related to baggage handling process.
  • Cooperating with global companies as an effort to implement the theme "Global Partnership" which will be carried out by the parent company PT Angkasa Pura II.
  • Implementing services through an integrated system with other APS business unit services.
