Saphire Mandai Executive Lounge was established in 2013, in collaboration with PT Mandai Prima as a joint partner. By carrying out the concept of a minimalist design, the Saphire lounge with a capacity of 150 seats seeks to provide excellent in service through offering a variety of attractive facilities that are expected to provide maximum comfort for customers for their airport experience.

Service Description

Saphire Mandai Executive Lounge provides standard lounge facilities, such as all you can eat buffets, toilets, musala, smoking rooms, free wi-fi, private rooms, bath rooms, and reading materials, such as newspapers and magazines. Saphire Mandai Executive Lounge combines traditional and modern concepts, both through interior design and serving food menus on the buffets.

The interior of Saphire Mandai Executive Lounge carries a minimalist concept. The 363 square meter lounge, dominated by dark brown colour, uses glass as the main element to bring a modern impression full of aesthetic value.

Meanwhile, a combination of local and foreign tastes on the all you can eat buffet menu tries to be presented through the presentation of western and traditional menus. For traditional menus, customers can enjoy typical Medan cuisine, such as Chicken Soup Noodles and Mesh Bread, as well as other regional Indonesian specialties.

Another special facility that can be enjoyed by customers is a private room. For Saphire Mandai Executive Lounge users who crave privacy on their visit, this 3m x 5m private room can be the right solution for fulfilling needs.

In addition to serving Saphire members and non-member customers, Saphire Mandai Executive Lounge also prioritizes services for partner bank customers (BCA, CIMB, Standard Chartered, Mandiri Syariah, Panin, BJB, ICBC, HSBC, Danamon, OCBC, Jatim, BTN, Muamalat), partner airline users (Malaysia Airlines, Silk Air, Jetstar, Cathay Pacific), and partner umroh travellers (Nur Ramadhan Travel, Cemara Masa Abadi, Travel Proin, Al Mukhtar Travel, Cahaya Hati Travel). In order to reach a wider range of customers, Saphire Mandai Executive Lounge also serves world airport access card users, such as Priority Pass and Dragon Pass.

Development Plan

  • Presenting end-to-end services that accommodate airline passengers needs from the start of the check-in process to baggage claims.
  • Accentuating local content by setting up a Shopping Corner that sells various items and souvenirs from regional home industry crafts.
  • Increase the variety of facilities by bringing back reflection services to lounge users.
